Study Abroad Day 20: Late night sessions

Hi everyone! Sometimes it slips my mind that I am here for study purposes. But honestly, I do not mind at all! I have been loving all this me-time and taking it easy for a while. Living Downtown has just been wonderful, and the city keeps surprising me. But yes, it almost slipped my mind again. School. It is definitely not the case that I do not have anything to do for my class. I have lots of readings to do actually! We also have to hand in one paper a week. But regardless I try to take it easy most of the days and not stress about it.

I make time to take a walk through the neighborhood, hang out with my new friends, workout, and most importantly be content and grateful!

But like I mentioned yesterday, I have a paper to hand in soon, so today was fully dedicated to writing and catching up with readings for next class. For lunch I had some homemade salad with beans, veggies, and peanut soysauce.

In the late afternoon my friend asked me if I wanted to join her studying at the library, and so I met her there around 8PM. When the library closed we moved to another study center behind the academic building we have class at. Around midnight we got really hungry, so we left to buy some snacks at Metro (woot woot for 24/7 supermarkets). I finally went home around 2AM—yes it sounds late, but my brain is most active and inspired at night, lol.
