The view was beautiful and mesmerizing! I could even see Morrison Hall from a far!
And the lunch was delicious too! I chose the cocktail shrimps, steak with asparagus, and chocolate mousse with liquored up bananas. The food was good quality and pretty affordable, especially if you count in the priceless view. Definitely an experience I would recommend!
After lunch we went to the observation level and checked out the glass floor. Of course I could not leave without having a mini photo shoot there. I found it quite weird that the glass did not scare me at all (I was actually quite comfortable), whilst the elevator ride creeped the hell out of me.
Of course, this was not enough for me and I had to take it up a notch by going up to the SkyPod at an altitude of 447 meters high. The view was absolutely breathtaking!
I browsed around in the souvenir shop hoping to find a nice drawing, but unfortunately I was not lucky in that department. Outside, however, I spotted a guy selling paintings (copies of, lol) of the Toronto skyline. I scored one and was super excited to take it home with me.
But then I unfortunately lost it somewhere on my way home, lol. I was so sad, but then one of my friends told me to go look for it, because I remembered I bought a pack of gum at the Union subway station and must have put the drawing down to get some money. I took her card and the subway back. And what do you know?! I was right there, exactly where I left it! Man I love Canadians!
After I got back we had lunch at a Thai restaurant (my bowl of soup was huuuge), went candy shopping, and studied for our upcoming exam!
