Hi guys! In my previous post you could read about my visit to the Bata Shoe Museum earlier today. Next stop for this überproductive day was the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), located on the corner of Bloor and Bay. I was really excited to see the dinosaurs, other than that I really did not know what to expect. Luckily a ginormous statue of bones was awaiting me in the hall.
The museum had 4-5 floors I believe, of which we unfortunately only visited two or three. I decided not to take a lot of pictures, because it would take me ages to do so! There was just way too much going on for me to decide on which items to focus. Also my phone battery was running low, and there was no sufficient lightning inside to take sharp pictures with my camera. On the first floor some special items were on display. On the right of the floor were lots of Asian artifacts to be admired!
We passed through a beautiful hall way to visit the right part of the first floor. On the right there was an exhibition on Canadian furniture and on the left one on Native American artifacts.
Because we were starving, we quickly rushed to the second floor to see stuffed animals and dino bones!
There was lots of variety in what the museum had to offer, so I really liked the museum. I would advice you to divide exploring the sections over at least two days, if you can find the time though. I was bummed out I was not able to go through each piece and read the history behind it, simply because there was way too much to see and so little time!
