Mysteryland drama 2013

One thing that bummed me out while studying abroad was the lack of partying I had going on. Unfortunately, campus was nearly empty because of summer. The parties I did visit were nothing compared to those I am used to. Also, apparently Europeans are known abroad to be party animals. So I decided to make up for it when I was back in Amsterdam, and what way better to get your party on in summer time? A music festival!

The weather looked very promising, and seen as a I saved a lot of money by not partying in Toronto, I figured a little investment could not hurt. And so I decided to sign up for an adventure in Mysteryland. ML is an annual dance music festival, which spreads over a location of 60,000 square meters (or so I read). To get an idea of what it looks like you can check out the video below.

Because the weather was predicted to be fine as heck that day, I decided to wear my BDG shorts I purchased at Urban Outfitters, my black sheer back top I scored for five bucks at the Canadian National Exhibition, my Honest Ed's CA$ 0,50 sunglasses (which no one likes, but me), and my faux Chucks from Primark.

And that is it for pictures unfortunately... I wish the reason was that I was too consumed with partying I did not think of capturing pictures for memories sake. Unfortunately, my phone deserted me, so all my pictures were gone. I dropped it for a second and someone else already claimed it. Luckily I had just returned from studying abroad, were I was taught about brainwashing and consumerism in the West, how detrimental this is for our counterparts in the South, and the perks of the subsistence perspective. So I did not weep. Well, not for long or a lot at least.
