I have no clue who the actors were, but my friend recognized them so I guess they are somewhat known. Wanna bet the scene supposedly takes place in NYC? I learned that a lot of films that "take place" there are actually shot in Downtown Toronto!
Before we made it to the St. Lawrence market we also stopped by a few stores to find some cute clothes! I got a pair of leggings as a goodbye gift :)
The market was nothing special to me, it was just a market. There was a lot of fresh produce to be found there though, but also coming with a very steep price! I quickly looked for the Carrousel Bakery to get a peameal bacon sandwich.
The bacon was really nice and different from anything else I have ever tasted. But the sandwich was so boring! Unfortunately I did not spot the condiments sections on time, but even with some sauce and lettuce I think 7 bucks is pretty steep!
We went downstairs to buy some pastry and left to take the subway at Union. On our way to Church-Wellesley (gay village) I spotted a store named Bulk Barn and was curious to find out what they sell there. I thought it meant cheap deals, but it turned out to be a store that sells products in bulk. I thought it was a very interesting concept, being able to decide yourself how much rice or chicken broth power you need.
I knew I was in the right neighborhood, because I spotted rainbow flags everywhere! I think I would definitely love to live in this part of the city, it is so vibrant and has a lot of character. A lot of restaurants and bars!
We walked back to Bloor and after I got home I changed clothes to head off to my last day of yoga!
