Hi guys! Today I have a random personal update coming your way! The other day I was simply a student, spending my free days doing homework and working my part-time job. It was the first fashion retailjob I sincerely enjoyed, and I was eager to become an integral part of the team! School was going well, I had little to complain about, and I would start my second semester soon.

Until one day, I received a highly unexpected phonecall...

I had applied for an internship in publishing months ago, and I totally forgot about it tbh. To my surprise I was invited for an interview, but I never got a call nor an email back about my acceptance or rejection. I figured, ah whatever, big companies are no strangers to leaving emails unanswered. I was fully prepared for my second semester at school and already made peace with my rejection. And then I got a call from the editor asking if I could start interning within a week.

Luckily I have no problems quickly adapting to new situations, so I have made sure to be ready to start next week. A big bummer though, was having to un-enroll from my courses I looked forward to, and handing in my hours for Topshop. But when one door closes another one opens, and who knows what this huge shiney door has in store me...
