Pink fever (review Casio JE-10)

I have been loving this sunny weather in this cold little country I live in. It has given me terrific opportunities to try out my new pink camera, while being out and about preparing for my trip abroad. Before I ordered this Casio JE-10, I looked online for reviews to see whether it would be a good purchase or not.

I only stumbled upon sponsored reviews, however, even though most of these bloggers liked the camera I was not at all convinced about its quality by looking at their pictures. Especially food wise. When I take food porn pictures I like to get all up in there and shoot from the nearest angle possible. I also really like clear shots in which you can see a lot of details. Blurry shots are reserved for self pics, lol. I took a gamble and thought to myself, well with all these pixels how in earth can a cam shoot such blurry food pics, despite of its lack in macro function?

Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised when taking out my cam for a test shoot at La Place and Häagen-Dazs! Although I am not planning to make much use of them, there are lots of fun camera modes to play around with, like fisheye, pop color, and toy function (vintage filter). There is also an option called make-up, which automatically blurs out your blemishes and imperfections when taking a selfie.

I am no photographer at all, but I love taking pictures to document my life. I think the pictures turned out beautifully and my pink baby is definitely approved for my trip abroad!

What do you think about my latest addition? Are you as crazy about pink and all things cute like I am? Let me know in a comment below!
