And the obsession continues... The other day I was strolling through the Kruidvat to buy some essentials, having absolutely no business in walking past the make-up section... But oh, I succumbed. I stopped at the Makeup Academy (MUA) wall and quickly browsed in hopes of spotting absolutely nothing of interest. As I was about to breath a sigh of relief, I spotted some lip products that caught my eye.
The color I was most attracted to ('Serene') was the only one without a tester to swatch in the store! But I could not look away, so I decided to take the risk and buy one. I contemplated for a brief moment whether I should open it at home, or save it for the future. But of course I could not contain myself!
As I swatched the color I was pleasantly surprised with the color intensity. I did start to worry a bit whether the color would not be a bit too light for me.

Ahh, I had so much trouble applying this product well! It applied a bit streaky, and for some unknown reason the pink was way more vibrant on my bottom lip than the upper. Before drying my lips were pretty sticky, and after drying unfortunately somewhat chalky.
Meh, I am not convinced! I hoped for a nice longlasting product with a matte finish, but it did not deliver imo. Honestly, a bit of a waste of my €4,99! I would rather recommend you to pay €1,50 more and score one of Sleek's Matte Me lip creams.
