Cosmo fashion internship (update 5)

Hi loves! This week started off terrible, because I fell very ill in the weekends. Some type of virus was having a party up in the office, seen as many people started coughing and feeling weary starting last week. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to still go to the office, I was way too ill to be very productive. Although I was not completely recovered, I decided to go back to work on Wednesday.

Although I was coughing my ass off, I was determined to complete the tasks I was assigned. I picked up the largest bag full of clothes, shoes and a skateboard, and even ended up across the Ij river to pick up stuff in the north of Amsterdam.

I stayed at the office until late, because I had to attend a VIP shopping night hosted by Cosmo at the new Levi's store. I enjoyed myself at the gathering, but when I started feeling miserable again and had a cough attack I knew that was my cue to return home!

The next day were two events I was looking forward to, despite not feeling too well. First off, a preview of the SS14 collection by River Island at the Hortus Botanicus (see previous post), and secondly the screening of the new Marvel movie 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'! The screening was totally unrelated to my internship though, hehe.

On Friday we were supposed to attend a celebration of some sort for the Marc by Marc Jacobs SS14 collection, but it was postponed at the last minute. But I did not mind one bit, seen as I was beat from the past week working and socializing whilst recovering from being ill. I also received my very first package of samples at the office today of a brand I reached out to for an upcoming shoot!
