Single Ladies' Val Stokes (Eps 1)

One of my favorite shows to watch back in 2011 was most definitely VH1's "Single Ladies", featuring Stacey Dash and LisaRaye. Although the second season also had me sitting on the edge of my chair thanks to Keisha's storyline, I am still bummed we did not get to see Val back! One of my main reasons for missing her on the show, was her fabulous style! Anthony L. Williams, whose name you might have recognised from Heidi Klum's show "Project Runway", is the brain behind all the styling of the ladies throughout the show.

Birthday celebrations (review Mercure Hotel A'dam)

Even though my so is not big on birthday celebrations, I decided a while ago to surprise him with a luxurious hotel stay. I wanted to pick a hotel that offered some spa facilities and which was not located in the center, just to get away from it all for a bit. My choice fell on the Mercure Amstel Hotel and I picked the suite that had a bubble bath and rainshower.
