Sweet pink (review Primark Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon)

In my last birthday haul first impression, I showed you some products I scored at Primark. Today's post is to show you the products up close and on me!

I bought the P.S. Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon in the color 'nude' (€2,00) and a P.S. lipliner pencil in 'dark pink' (€1,50). You might remember that I already tried out three colors of the latter in a different blogpost, and was pretty satisfied with them!

The swatches looked very promising by themselves, but when I actually applied them... Nothing! The colors were pretty much identical to the color of my actual lips, so unfortunately they didn't make that of a difference!

Bummer! But not a total waste, luckily. The lip liner really doesn't do anything for me in this shade, but the crayon is a pretty convenient product I can just whip out to give my lips a little tint without use of a mirror!

Would I recommend them? They didn't wow me, but they weren't bad either for the price, so yes! Just make sure you choose a shade that actually shows on your lips, hehe. Like the purple, light pink, or brown! And oh, don't buy the crayon if you're looking for a matte product! Because it fails to deliver on that promise (at least in this shade).
