Cut to shape (AW14 lingerie + shopping)

When it comes to shopping for lingerie I buy whatever catches my eye. Admittedly, I do not consciously keep my bodyshape in mind, because I already know what will look good on me without trying it on. Are you, however, clueless when it comes to lingerie, with the oversupply in shapes and colors of panties and bras? Then definitely keep on reading to find how you can rock the latest lingerie trends with your bodytype!

Enjoy reading!

The following trends are 4 of my favorites this fall, and are easy to sport by anyone. Do you choose prints (Pattern'd up), a romantic take (Vintage Romance), a frisky little number (Ooh Lala), or eye popping colors (Technicolor)? Make sure you pick a trend you are most comfortable with and sets that emphasize your assets!

Bodytype A: Carrot
Are you athletically build from the waist up, with wide shoulders and a smaller frame from the waist down? Then you have a carrot shape! Lacey bralettes and bandeautops are perfect for you, because they soften the harsh look of your toned body. With some panties in a matching color you will feel more than a woman! Also silk numbers with mesh will do you wonders for your figure.

Bodytype B: Stringbean
If your bodytype is stringbean (also banana), you are very petite with subtle curves. Your golden rule is; the more details the better! Functionality is the least of your worries when choosing lingerie. Create the illusion of a curvy body by picking a bra with a wire and spice it up a notch by making it a push-up variant. Lace and silk make your body look extra feminine, and boxershorts give you some more junk in the trunk. It is all about volume!

Bodytype C: Apple
If you own a pair of killer legs with small hips, an average to large sized bust with wide shoulders, ánd a bit extra on the stomach, then you are apple shaped! Your goal is to create a waist and emphasize your envious rack. This can be done by wearing a wired (push-up) bra. A halter bra looks divine on you and and high waisted panties come in handy to cover your belly area. To balance out your heavier upper body, create volume from the waist down by picking panties that scream for attention.

Bodytype D: Pear
Do you sing along passionately whenever "Hips don't lie" is on the radio? Then you are probably pear shaped just like Shakira! Balance out your curves by drawing attention to your modest cupsize. Triangle bras with ruffles give you more volume and lacey push-up bras let you shine from the waist up. It is important to keep it simple when it comes to panties by choosing them in a solid color. Boxershorts draw extra attention to your wide hips, a better option is to pick a pair of hipsters or high-waisted briefs to hide your tummy if you have one.

Bodytype E: Peanut
Have you been blessed with curves up top and from the waist down? Make sure you properly support your breasts peanut! Accentuate your slim waist with a garter belt and go wild with briefs that have thin bands. You can rock pretty much anything, but be weary not to come across too sultry with all those assets!

Have fun shopping! If you found this helpful I would love to hear so in a comment!
