Cosmo fashion internship (update 5)

Hi loves! This week started off terrible, because I fell very ill in the weekends. Some type of virus was having a party up in the office, seen as many people started coughing and feeling weary starting last week. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to still go to the office, I was way too ill to be very productive. Although I was not completely recovered, I decided to go back to work on Wednesday.

River Island salon show

Today I made a visit to a salon show by River Island hosted at the Hortus Botanicus, which is a plant museum in Amsterdam. When we arrived we got a pair of binoculars, because we had to "spot the models" as if we were on a safari and the models were wild animals.

Cosmo's Levi Revel Night

One of my first events to attend for Cosmo, was a VIP night at Levi's hosted by the magazine. Lucky readers were invited for a VIP shopping night at one of the Levi's stores in Amsterdam, giving them a chance to find their perfect pair of jeans whilst enjoying cocktails and finger food, and getting the opportunity to get acquainted with the Cosmo staff.

Cosmo fashion internship (update 4)

I just had a small epiphany about my blogging style. Even though my posts mainly serve a documenting purpose, if somehow I managed to either entertain someone with my writing and or inform them in someway this would definitely be the icing on the cake of blogging! And I honestly realized that I do not let my internship at Cosmopolitan look nearly as interesting and fun as it actually is! Obviously I am often either way too busy to take pictures or quite frankly slightly embarrassed to.

In Toronto I was like whatever, I took pictures of anything that sparked my interest and pointed the camera towards myself any chance I got—the perks of travelling alone. But nowadays I often do not take the effort anymore to capture special moments in my life. I think the reason is that I do not like telling people I take pictures for my blog, because I am kind of low key about this hobby of mine. But I should not let something minor like that waste my opportunities of documenting my life, as beautiful as it is. So from next week on I will try my utter best to take more (fun) pictures! I have a really exciting week coming up, so I think it will not be thát hard to accomplish this. Onto update 4 then for now!

Cosmo fashion internship (update 3)

Hi loves! Can you believe I have already completed four weeks of interning? Time truly flies when you are enjoying yourself, and especially when it involves living out your dreams. Less than a year ago, around this time, I found out I was selected for the Summer exchange program with the University of Toronto. Never in a million years could I have thought back then that luck would be on my side once again. Keep chasing dreams until they grow tired of you. But enough with the mushy stuff!

This Monday was my first official day at the office. I literally did not set one foot outside the whole day. I was busy sending out price requests for the bikini shoot credits from last week. Luckily I quickly received many replies to finish writing my credits.
