Hi loves! Today I had lunch with a friend to catch up. I chose a Japanese inspired restaurant named Wagamama. I had dinner there before, but I never tried out their noodle soups. For starters we picked the deep-fried seafood gyoza and ebi katsu. For main we went for the chicken itame (ramen noodles in coconut curry based soup) and yaki soba. And lastly, both the chocolate fudge cake and white chocolate ginger cake were ordered!
Although it is very efficient for them, I immediately disliked their seating arrangements. Not only do I find it conflicting with my personal space, having to sit right next to other people, the benches/chairs are also pretty uncomfortable to sit on.
Although I enjoyed the food, I think the prices there are way too steep (around €15 for a main course). For the 'fresh fastfood concept' they are trying to sell, looking at the way you are seated and lack of privacy, I think the prices should be way lower!
Another thing, which I consider when judging prices, is the service you get. Disregarding the actual waiters, I find it a bit inconvenient that dishes are served when ready and not according to order. For instance, your friends might still be waiting for their starters to arrive, while you already started on your main. This is quite an over-exaggerated example, but in essence this is how their system of serving works.
Looking at all the times I have had dinner there, I would definitely recommend you to walk in to try out their desserts! Food wise I am a bit hesistant to recommend, but I dó love their chicken and yasai katsu curry!
