Birthday celebrations (review Mercure Hotel A'dam)

Even though my so is not big on birthday celebrations, I decided a while ago to surprise him with a luxurious hotel stay. I wanted to pick a hotel that offered some spa facilities and which was not located in the center, just to get away from it all for a bit. My choice fell on the Mercure Amstel Hotel and I picked the suite that had a bubble bath and rainshower. Before booking I looked for some reviews online and actually found a professional review by Oyster.com.

Building memories (Saigon Café)

Hi loves! Today I finally had met my friends again for dinner. Although we speak each other on a daily base, we hardly get to actually see each other because of school and work. We usually go out for Asian food, because we love sharing several meals together. This evening we went for Vietnamese at Saigon Café, where we had dinner before.

Quality over quantity (review ichi-E)

Hi everyone! Today I had dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Ichi-E. The prices were a bit steep (about €18,50 per entrée), but they tasted absolutely wonderful. The salmon and beef were perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
