Being Mary Jane inspo (Eps 7)

Hi loves. One of my favorite shows to watch last season was definitely Being Mary Jane. Aside from the story line and acting, an important feature that makes the show stand out to me is the wardrobe styling. I have a weakness for the type of power woman outfits Mary Jane sports on a regular base, and she almost makes me want to dust off the heels in my shoe closet. In awaiting for the second season to finally start I thought I would get us in the mood again with some TV-celeb inspo, showing you all the fab outfits MJ rocked in the first season. Enjoy! Warning: Might contain spoilers!

Episode 7: Hindsight is 20/40

Outfit 1

Although I would personally not go for a similar dress, I could appreciate it when only the top part was shown. The black and white graphic design on the bottom totally caught me off-guard, lol. I will just keep it at that. 

Outfit 2

This was just any other office type attire imo. I liked the gold necklace for a pop of color, but noticed she was not wearing it anymore in the next scenes.

Outfit 3

I just threw this one in here for some sexiness, lol.

Outfit 4

MJ casual almost always involves a pair of jeans-ish pants and a loose cardigan or jacket. I prefer MJ glammed up.

Outfit 5

Business babe again, but pretty boring outfit imo.

Outfit 6

I believe she has the same pants she had on for outfit #5 here. I really liked the top she was wearng underneath her cardigan, a sleeveless v-neck top.

Outfit 7

I was crazy about MJ in purple the last time, but this time I am less enthusiastic. The color still suits her, and I think the dress is cut perfectly for her frame. But it is definitely has not kicked that backless purple maxi-dress from its throne.

Let me know in a comment what your favorite outfit was from the seventh episode! Unfortunately non of the outfits she wore this episode really wow-ed me in any sense. But if I had to choose, I would vote for outfit #7, because the dress fit her beautifully.
