Makan Pasar Malam '12

Hi loves! Yesterday I visited the annual Tong Tong Fair in The Hague. This festival (also known as Pasar Malam) is filled with festivities and performances that are related to Indonesian culture. I honestly only ever go there for the food! This year was definitely my favorite out of all times, and I especially enjoyed the grilled fish.

The weather has been crazy beautiful the past few days, which is a shame because my fellow students and I are still in the process of finishing our papers etc. etc. for this semester. Meaning that we are not really allowed to go out and get our tans on.. Writing my final paper for Violence and Conflict as we speak, bear with me..

Tiny dinner #5 (review Supperclub Cruise A'dam)

Last year I posted about my experience at the other Supperclub location in Amsterdam, which was my first time at a SC restaurant. The difference between the two is the absence of a club at this location, which is probably because it is on a boat. Again, upon entry one is welcomed by friendly staff members who show you to the bar to wait at before being seated. This bar (on the upper deck) looked very comfortable with huge black pillows to sit on. Unfortunately, there were not enough of these couches available for the number of guests. After finishing our drinks we were seated in a bright white room, filled with white pillows. Inevitably, we had to take our shoes off.

I'm doubting whether I should start blogging in Dutch as well... Just a test run here.. Anywho, I finally handed in my Capstone Thesis and am one step closer to graduation. That means... shopping for some killerheels and a dress, oh happy joy joy.! Unfortunately I've to hand in 2 papers before the end of next week ¬¬ So no partying for me.. YET. Oh and my translation is really loose, hehe... Meaning I just translate things to how I would say them in Dutch.

Bought some very optimistic items to add to my S/S wardrobe. Optimistic as in, they're expecting the weather to become as nice as it was on Queensday very soon.
